Binary evolved from Binary Research Ltd., the New Zealand company which created the world’s first PC Cloning software, Ghost. BRI was formed in order to provide worldwide technical support and to better market Ghost, a strategy which culminated in the sale of Ghost to Symantec Corporation. For a time, Ghost’s name was changed to Norton Ghost and it is now known as Symantec Ghost Solution Suite. Binary Research continues to sell Symantec products within North America. | In December 2003, we opened our European subsidiary - Binary Resource (UK) Ltd. - to better service the European and other international markets in the distribution of products such as Big Bang’s Universal Imaging Utility. Our services division provides training worldwide in Symantec Ghost Solution Suite and the deployment of Windows Vista.
